The Scotch Premier brand has become synonymous for quality and is
renowned throughout the UK and beyond. When the brand was introduced
in 1993, establishing the provenance of the company's livestock throughput
was an integral part of marketing the brand and over the years this
has evolved into one of the most comprehensive traceability systems
in practice today.
The key to the system is the identification label which is applied
to all carcases and selected prime cuts. Buyers can visit our processing
facilities at any time and, by presenting a label will be shown the
history of that product from farm through to processing and delivery.
