Inverness-based, H & I Livestock Ltd, is part of ANM Group Ltd and provides a range of marketing services to livestock producers throughout the Highlands and Islands. The company acts as marketing agent for a number of producer groups in the Western Isles, offering a specialist direct marketing service which gives producers a guaranteed outlet for quality prime, store and breeding sheep. This important service provides producers in areas distant from the main markets with a vital life-line to outlets for their stock, including the opportunity to finish store lambs on mainland farms and thus maximise the potential of the market. Mainland producers are also supplied with quality breeding sheep and finishers with store lambs to suit a variety of indoor and outdoor finishing systems. In addition, quality suckled calves and store cattle are sourced for the specialist beef finisher. H & I Livestock Ltd have also been appointed procurement agents for the specialist lamb processing plant at Dornoch, Sutherland, operated by sister company, Scotch Premier Meat Ltd.
