Based in the North of Scotland’s natural larder, Highland Country Foods have been an integral supplier to the Scottish Food Industry for more than 30 years.  From old favourites to new and innovative ingredients, Highland Country Foods has something different to offer each of their loyal customers.  Established in 1971 as a manufacturer and distributor to the Butchery trade, and then falling under the umbrella of The ANM Group (Aberdeen Northern Marts) in 2004 the company now service the length and breadth of the country, providing a service second to none.  The company, although small with a total of 19 employees, is growing from strength to strength and the Group being totally committed to its core business of livestock marketing and meat processing can ensure a positive outlook for the years ahead.

As a quality cooked meat manufacturer supplying to some of the key players within the UK sandwich industry, product development is of paramount importance.  Our customers are very demanding and expect us to deliver innovative product solutions for their businesses, continuously.  Many could say that the cooked meat business in very competitive therefore, we require to "set ourselves apart" from the opposition by introduing new creations to the market at the right price and responding promtly to customer briefs without ever taking our eye off the ball on quality.

As part of a trip to the area through the Northern Outdoor Recreational Food Project (OutRef), a group of delegates from Iceland and Finland enjoyed a taste of the Highlands in Forres on Wednesday, February 14th.
