POPULAR IRISH ARTIST HUGO DUNCAN RETURNS TO THAINSTONE

Popular Irish singing sensation Hugo Duncan is set to make a welcome return to the North-east next month.

The “wee man from Strabane” will perform at Inverurie’s Thainstone Centre in an evening of Irish entertainment on Saturday, March 29. He will be joined on the night by fellow Irish singing stars Louise Morrissey and Frankie McBride.

Laura Poppe, Thainstone Centre events manager said: “We are delighted that Hugo Duncan and his band are returning to the North-east. The first time he performed at Thainstone the event was a tremendous success and I am certain this evening will be no exception.

“Hugo will be joined on the night by some extremely talented artists and I would urge people to register their interest quickly to avoid disappointment.”

Hugo Duncan – also a BBC Radio Ulster presenter and Ulster television personality – said he was looking forward to visiting the North-east once again, and in particular with two of the best Irish artists on the country music circuit.

Doors open at 7pm and tickets, priced £15 each, are available now from the Gallery Restaurant within the Thainstone Centre, the I & R Music stall at the Sunday Market, online at www.goanm.co.uk or by contacting Thainstone events manager Laura Poppe on (01467) 623760.
