More than 370 lots of whisky and memorabilia were sold during an auction held by TSA at Thainstone Centre, Inverurie at the weekend.

Marking 18 years since the opening of Thainstone Centre, the anniversary show and sale is once again sponsored by award-winning Sauchen-based haulage firm Henry Thomson & Sons.

Prices hit an event record high of £6,500 at the 2007 Aberdeen Christmas Classic on Tuesday (December 4th).

Prices reached a record high at the 2007 Scotch Premier Meat Ltd Christmas Carcase Show on Monday (December 3rd) with the supreme champion fetching £5,200.

More than 500 of the country’s top animals have been entered for Scotland’s premier two-day winter farming event.

More than 1,300 lots of antiques and collectables will go under the hammer at Elgin Auction Centre on Wednesday, November 28.

Entrants for Scotland’s premier two-day winter farming event, the Aberdeen Christmas Classic, are being reminded of the upcoming entry date.

Entries are now being accepted for Scotland’s premier two-day winter farming event, the Aberdeen Christmas Classic. To be held at Inverurie’s Thainstone Centre, on December 3rd and 4th 2007 this year’s event boasts an increased prize fund of more than £16,000, as well as a large number of trophies.

Good quality animals were at the forefront during the inaugural show and sale of spring calving heifers at Thainstone Centre, Inverurie, on Tuesday, Novemeber 6th.

Aberdeen and Northern Marts is pleased to announce details of a new event. An inaugural sale of spring calving heifers is due to take place on Tuesday 6th November.

Well known cattle exhibitors Andrew Anderson from Rothes and Don Anderson from Netherley took home the top prizes in a show and sale at Thainstone Centre, Inverurie on Friday (October 26th).

A unique bronze figure by a 19th Century French sculptor will be one of the notable items on sale during a forthcoming Thainstone Specialist Auction event later this month (TSA).
