23rd October 2006 - Annual dairy show and sale sees prices to £1250 Aberdeen & Northern Marts held its annual show in conjunction
with the Holstein Scotland North Club at Thainstone Centre, Inverurie
on Tuesday (October 17th). The honours went to Keith and Orkney at Aberdeen & Northern Marts’ 11th show and sale of Aberdeen-Angus sired store cattle on Tuesday (October 10th).
Aberdeen & Northern Marts’ 42nd annual show and sale of registered pedigree Shetland ponies has been hailed a success.
A top line-up of judges has just been announced for Scotland’s premier two-day winter farming event. 6th October 2006 - Huntly farmers lead the way at show and sale Bridge of Marnoch’s Billy Stewart took home the overall championship at Aberdeen & Northern Marts’ show and sale of commercial beef breeding cattle on Tuesday (October 3rd). 3rd October 2006 - Top prize to Argyll in show and sale An Argyll farmer lifted the honours during a show and sale of weaned and suckled calves at Thainstone Centre, Inverurie, Aberdeenshire on Friday (September 29th). 3rd October 2006 - 400 for second show and sale of rams An entry of around 400 will take part in Aberdeen & Northern Marts’ second show and sale of rams at Thainstone Centre, Inverurie next Wednesday (October 11th). 3rd October 2006 - Increased entry for 42nd annual show and sale An increased entry of more than 240 will take part in Aberdeen & Northern Marts 42nd show and sale of registered pedigree Shetland ponies on Sunday, October 8th and Monday, October 9th. |
