(Press release issued by the ANM Group Ltd on behalf of RNCI)

Music lovers are being offered the chance to dance the night away in aid of a good cause later this month

The Royal Northern Countryside Initiative (RNCI) is gearing up to stage a fundraising stovie dance at Thainstone Centre, Inverurie on Saturday, July 22nd in a bid to raise money for the organisation’s Countryside Classroom on Wheels (CCOW).

The stovie dance will take place between 8pm and midnight and will feature music from Country Edition and a raffle. Tickets are priced at £10, including stovies.

Commenting on the event, RNCI chairperson Alyson Hunter said: “We are hoping that this event will raise enough money for us to be able to carry out essential maintenance to CCOW.

“The resource is enjoyed, free of charge, by hundreds of schoolchildren in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and Moray. This inevitably leads to wear and tear and we are keen to make sure that CCOW is back in tiptop condition for the start of the new school year in August. Hopefully this stovie dance will enable the RNCI to meets the costs of these repairs and maintenance.”
