Investors in people success for companies

ANM Group Ltd companies are celebrating success in the Investors in People scheme.

Aberdeen & Northern Marts and Thainstone Specialist Auctions have achieved the benchmark for the first time, while catering company Highland Cuisine Ltd has been re-accredited following a scheduled review of standards.

Investors in People recognises companies that demonstrate excellence in improving business performance through the development of people and membership extends to UK companies of all sizes and representing all kinds of industry.

During a presentation at Thainstone Centre on Thursday (December 8th), Scottish Enterprise Grampian chief executive Jennifer Craw paid tribute to the hard work at all levels that had brought about the achievement, commenting: “This is a fantastic testament to the success of the business and demonstrates the importance of working as a great team to achieve success.”

Ms Craw presented the Investors in People plaque to Aberdeen & Northern Marts’ general manager John Gregor who added: “Investors in People is an ongoing process and we will continue to maintain the high standards that scheme demands in the coming weeks, months and years.”

ANM Group Ltd chief executive Brian Pack added: “This is the result of a major effort by many people and the plaque is the final seal of all that work. We have to keep working to progress the business and we have a flexible staff who relish the challenges that are presented and rise to them.”
