Cache Data

Property

Cache is when your Internet Browser saves a page that you are looking at so that it doesn't have to download it again from the server. For a wikipedia definition of Cache, click here. If you have a cached copy of a page, your browser may not display updates to that page as it already has it saved on your computer. To rectify this:

For Internet Explorer Users:

1. Go to the Tools Menu > Internet Options

2. On that tab, you will see a section entitled 'Browsing History'. Click the button marked Delete.

3. Once you are in that menu, either click 'delete all' which will delete all your saved sites and passwords, or click Delete Temporary Internet Files.

For Firefox Users:

1. Hold down Ctrl-Shift-Delete.

2. Select what you want to delete.

3. Click the Delete Private Data button.
