Charcuterie takes the stand at Food & Drink Expo 2008
The team at Charcuterie is gearing up for a major international showcase this April as they head off to exhibit their new and expanding range at Food & Drink Expo 2008.
The event will take place from 6-9 April at the NEC in Birmingham - a four-day festival of innovation and technology which will be meeting place for the world's food buyers, featuring around 750 UK, regional, international and speciality producers from around the globe.
The company - which is based in Twechar on the outskirts of Glasgow - manufactures quality cooked meat products from their state-of-the-art, purpose-built factories in Glasgow and Forres, nr Inverness. The range includes, award winning Rare Scottish Topside of Beef, Pastramis, Salt Beef, Pork, Lamb, Sausages and Stuffing among many other renowned favourites.
Commenting on the forthcoming trip to Birmingham, Charcuterie Continental Ltd sales and marketing manager Susan Watson said: "We are really excited to be part of this show. Food & Drink Expo is one of the major UK food exhibitions attracting visitors from all of our target markets, existing and potential customers as well as overseas opportunities.
"We believe, that within our very busy industry, people have less time to visit every conceivable exhibition therefore, a show, housing many smaller, specific sub-exhibitions could be the most practical way for both exhibitors and visitors to get the most out of the experience."

Organic Cooked Meats
In 2007 CHARCUTERIE was granted accreditation by the Scottish Organic Producers and Growers Association to produce a range of Organic Cooked Meat products. So far we have perfected our Rare Cooked Organic Topside of Beef which has generated much interest.
We are licensed to produce Organic Cooked Meats from any whole muscle. We plan to extend our range to include Organic Roast Pork, Organic Ham roasted with Scottish Heather Honey and Organic Roast Lamb. All products will be available either pre-sliced or in whole joints ideal for carvery.
