eBid @ live auction
Step by Step Guide to setting up the software.

Step 1.

Once you have registered for a business account and downloaded the eBid @ live auction software an icon will appear on your desktop. To start the software please click on the icon.
You will get a window like this on your screen.
click on the settings option:

 

Step 2.

Settings Options: (see example below)

Cluster Identification box: Please type your Login Name

LAN User box:
Remove the tick when using a Modem to dial into the internet. You now have the option to select from the drop down menu:
If you are using a Local Area Network please leave the tick in the box.

No Auto Connect: in this option you will need to dial into the internet as normal, once connected you can open up the eBid @ live auction software and access the catalogue and the sale ring.

The other options will allow you to select your ISP from the list: these options will automatically dial into the Internet using your ISP when you login to the eBid @ live auction software.

Save your Settings:
once you have entered your information.

Step 3.

Password: (see example below)

Once you have saved your settings, please enter your password in the Password box there is an option to save your password for the next time, or if you untick the box you will be asked to enter your password each time you login. Now click on LOGIN to view the catalogue and sale bidding.
Step 4.

Catalogues:

Once you have logged in, you will recieve a screen like the following, (see example below) unless the sale is about to begin then you will see the lots on offer. To view the catalogue and enter your prebids, click on Catalogue at the top of the screen.

Step 5.

Sorting Catalogue and making Pre - Bids :

Sort: the lots of the catalogue to suit your needs by clicking on the arrows next to the headings. ie: by clicking the arrow in Level 1 and selecting the TURRIFF area you will then only see a list of items being sold from that area, you can also sort by Quantity, Type, etc.

Pre - Bids: can be made prior to the sale, by simply clicking on the lot you require and pressing on the Make Pre-Bid box. you will be asked to enter the Price, the Quantity and also the minimum Quantity you would be willing to take from that lot, in the case that a previous bidder had taken part of the lot at a higher bid. During the sale your bid will automatically appear on the Screen next to the Auctioneer and your interest noted. If you are successful an email will be sent out after the sale to notify you of your purchase, and an invoice will follow.
