THAINSTONE, Aberdeen and Northern Marts (10th June) 128 prime cattle.
Under 30 Month - Prime bullocks (57) averaged 152.7p (+2.8p) and sold to 170p per kg for a 570kg Limousin from Brucewells, Netherley, and purchased by Rhinds of Elgin, and for a 585kg Limousin from Dykenook, Netherley, and purchased by W and J Cameron, Grange, and £1,248.20 gross for a 790kg Limousin from Caskieben, Kinellar.
Prime heifers (42) averaged 156.7p (+0.4p) and sold to 174p per kg for a 540kg Limousin from Caskieben and purchased by I Thomson, Keith, and £1,191.45 gross for a 705kg Blonde d'Aquitaine from Freefield House, Old Rayne, and purchased by Woodhead Brothers, Turriff.
Young bulls (11) averaged 118.1p (-3.9p) and sold to 135p per kg and £931.50 gross for a 690kg Limousin from Mains of Kindrought, Strichen.
30 to 48 Month - Bullocks (eight) averaged 121.5p (-14.2p) and sold to 139p per kg for a 710kg Charolais, and £1,059.50 gross for a 815kg Charolais from Mill of Auchintoul, Aberchirder.

New season SQQ up to 45.5kg (60) averaged 200.8p per kg (NC).
