THAINSTONE, Aberdeen and Northern Marts (8th July) 103 prime cattle.
Under 30 Month - Prime bullocks (43) averaged 160.3p (-0.6p) and sold to 170p per kg for a 570kg Charolais from Whiteside, Tullynessle, and purchased by C Simpson, Inverurie and £1,240.20 gross for a 795kg Limousin from Corfeidly, Classel.
Prime heifers (35) averaged 160.4p (nc) and sold to 174p per kg for a 465kg Limousin from Whiteside, Tullynessle, and purchased by West End Butchers, Peterhead, and £1,172.60 gross for a 715kg Limousin from Hillocks, Whiterashes.
Young bulls (six) averaged 115.8p (-1.2p) and sold to 139p per kg for a 735kg Charolais and £1,021.65 gross from from Burnside of Gight, Gight.
30 to 48 Month - Bullocks (10) averaged 136.4p (-2.0p) and sold to 149p per kg and £1,102.60 gross for a 740kg Limousin from Kirkhill, Gartly.
Heifers (nine) averaged 137.8p (-5.7p) and sold to 154p per kg and £1,093.40 gross for a 710kg Blonde from Aquhorsk, Westhill.

New season SQQ up to 45.5kg (239) averaged 162.6p per kg (+ 4.4p).
