At the Annual Autumn Sale of  Commercial Beef Breeding Cattle on behalf of Messrs A R Mathers and Sons, an outstanding show of Heifers with Calves met a ready demand while Spring Calving and Bulling Heifers a more selective enquiry.

Heifers with calves sold to £2,900 for a Simmental Cross with Bull Calf to A Duncan, Hillocks, Keig, Alford.
