Prime bullocks (47) averaged 158.7p (-0.1) and sold to 172p per kg for a 172p per kg for a 540kg British Blue from Forbes Arm Stud and Farms, Alford, and £1,271.70 gross for a 785kg Limousin from Hillside, Insch.
Prime heifers (27) averaged 153.8p (-9.3p) and sold to 170p per kg for a 555kg Limousin from Hillocks, Whiterashes and purchased by Bruce of The Broch, Fraserburgh, and £1,035.40 gross for a 620kg Limousin from Newton Cottage, Acharacle.
Young bulls (two) averaged 119.8p (+1.6p) and sold to 155p per kg and £1,216.75 gross for a 785kg Limousin from North Behinties, Craigievar, and purchased by C Anderson, Dumfries.
