Prime bullocks (67) averaged 133.5p (+2.0p) and sold to 146p per kg for a 520kg Limousin from Shieldpark, Rothiemay and purchased by Rhinds of Elgin Limited, and £1,174.50 gross for a 870kg Limousin from Whiteknowes, Craigievar, and purchased by C Anderson, Dumfries.


Prime heifers (87) averaged 133.8p (+0.9p) and sold to 153p per kg for a 545kg Limousin from Learney Home Farm, Torphins, and purchased by West End Butchers, Peterhead, and £1,101.10 gross for a 770kg Charolais from Darnabo, Fyvie, and purchased by C Anderson.


Young bulls (two) averaged 104p (+4.5p) and sold to 130p per kg for a 560kg Belgian Blue from Shieldpark, and purchased by C Anderson, and £748.20 gross for a 860kg Shorthorn from Doonies Farm, Nigg.


Beef cows (235) averaged 91p (-1.32p) and sold to 116.2p per kg for a 650kg Limousin from Dorsell, Alford and £955 gross for a 995kg Charolais from Mains of Knockhall, Newburgh.

Dairy cows (17) averaged 70.55p (+15.69p) and sold to 79.9p per kg and £555 gross for a 695kg Friesian from Aimster, Thurso.


Farrow bulls (14) averaged 52.55p (-14.47p) and sold to 78.23p per kg for a 735kg Limousin from Greenfield, Rothes and £735 gross for a 1,035kg Charolais from Tulloch, Forbes, Alford.
