THAINSTONE, Aberdeen and Northern Marts (April 24th) 102 prime cattle, and 170 OTM cattle.
Prime bullocks (39) averaged 152.7p (+2.4p) and sold to 165p per kg for a 580kg Limousin from Hillside, Fetternear and purchased by Woodhead Brothers, Turriff, and £1,094.40 gross for a 720kg Limousin from Whitehouse Farm, Lumphanan, and purchased by C Anderson, Dumfries.
Prime heifers (58) averaged 151.7p (-0.8p) and sold to 169p per kg for a 565kg Limousin from Whitehouse Farm, and purchased by Rhinds of Elgin, and £1,028.35 gross for a 655kg Limousin from Aquhorsk, Westhill, and purchased by Woodhead Brothers.
Young bulls (five) averaged 141.1p (+9.5p) and sold to p 148per kg for a 720kg Charolais from Mill of Balmaud, King Edward, and £1,078.65 gross for a 765kg Charolais from Montgrew, Keith, both purchased by C Anderson.
Beef cows (123) averaged 114.48p (-0.93p) and sold to 140.3p per kg for a 595kg Limousin from Mayne Farn, Elgin and £1,075 gross for a 920kg Blonde D' Aquitaine from Freefield House, Old Rayne.
Dairy cows (16) averaged 94.16p (+7.95p) and sold to 105.1p per kg and £935 gross for a 890kg Friesian from Concraig, Bucksburn.
Farrow bulls (nine) averaged 103.53p (-4.33p) and sold to 139.5p per kg for a 1,000kg Simmental from Hatton Manor, Auchterless and £1,455 gross for a 1,055kg Belgian Blue from Conrock, Rothes.

Old season lambs (2,463) averaged 135.7p per kg (+3.8p) and sold to 151.1p per kg for 44kg Suffolks from Mossneuk, Ellon and £69 gross for 55kg Suffolks from England Farm, Portlethen.
New season SQQ up to 45.5kg (nine) averaged 184.2p per kg.
