Halfbred (532) averaged £89.85 (+£5.96) to £96 for 127 head all from Westerton, Auchleuchries.
Cheviot (136) averaged £76.66 (+£9.13) to £100 for a pen of 25 from Westerton.
Down Cross (28) averaged £71.43 (-£3.57) to £74 for a pen of 25 from Cape Wrath, Turnerhall.
Mule (1,588) averaged £74.85 (-£2.21) to £92 for a pen of 35 from Kirkland, Forgue.
Cheviot/Mule (75) averaged £73.86 (+£0.22) to £88 for a pen of 22 from Westerton.
Greyface (39) averaged £78 (+£2.11) to £78 for a pen of 39 from Strichen Mains, Strichen.

Aberdeen and Northern Marts (12th September) sold 229 Lleyn breeding sheep.

At the first Annual show and sale of Lleyn sheep in conjunction with the Lleyn Sheep Society Ltd judged by Michael Cursiter, Laga, Orkney the Champion male was a shearling ram from James Goldie, Townfoot, Dumfries which sold to I. Gordon, Adamston, Drumblade for 480gns. The Champion pen of females went to Hamish Goldie, Southbowerhouse, Dumfries and was purchased by D. J. & A. Connon, Broadmyre, Clatt for £110.
