Prime bullocks (50) averaged 122.7p (-2.5p) and sold to 136p per kg for a 600kg Limousin from Knockothie Farms, Ellon, and purchased by Rhinds of Elgin Limited, Elgin, and £975.95 gross for a 745kg Charolais from Boghouse, Tarves.
Prime heifers (60) averaged 125.3p (+1.2p) and sold to 141p per kg for a 545kg Limousin from Boghouse, and purchased by Rhinds of Elgin, and £812.50 gross for a 650kg Belgian Blue from Whiteside, Tullynessle.
Young bulls (five) averaged 68p (nc) and sold to 74p per kg for a 570kg Aberdeen-Augus and £452.60 gross for a 620kg Aberdeen-Angus from North Park, Lonmay.
Beef cows (264) averaged 70.81p (+2.21p) and sold to 110p per kg for a 740kg Limousin from Lower Inchcorsie, Rothiemay and £835 gross for a 865kg Charolais from Lochdhu, Nairn.
