Prime heifers (84) averaged 124.1p (-0.8p) and sold to 141p per kg for a 495kg Limousin, purchased by Rhinds of Elgin, for a 565kg Charolais purchased by Bruce of the Broch, Fraserburgh, and for a 605kg Charolais purchased by Woodhead Brothers from Auchmaliddie Mains, Maud, and also for a 580kg Limousin from Nether Glasslaw, New Pitsligo, purchased by Rhinds of Elgin, and £976.50 gross for a 775kg Charolais from Mill of Balmaud, King Edward.
