Prime bullocks (59) averaged 116.9p
(+3.2p) and sold to 133p per kg for a 570kg Limousin from Pityot, Bridge
of Muchalls, and purchased by Woodhead Brothers, Turriff, and £934.80
gross for a 760kg Charolais from Caskieben, Kinellar.
Prime heifers (51) averaged 121.4p (+1.7p) and
sold to 138p per kg for a 485kg Limousin from Smiddyhill, Ellon, and purchased
by Rhinds of Elgin, Elgin, and £846 gross for a 705kg Charolais
from Highfield, Lethenty.
Young bulls (two) averaged 87.2p (-14.1p) and sold to
92p per kg and £809.60 gross for a 880kg Charolais from Milton of
Edinglassie, Strathdon.
Beef cows (81) averaged 77.28p (-3.54p)
and sold to 101p per kg and £725 for a 715kg Limousin from Bogloch,
Lumphanan.
Dairy cows (10) averaged 48.87p (-9.35p)
and sold to 87p per kg and £765 gross for a 880kg Friesian from
Overton, Memsie.
Farrow bulls (five) averaged 51.2p (nc)
and sold to 66p per kg for a 995kg Charolais from North Crannoch, Crossroads,
Keith and £700 gross for a 1,180kg Aberdeen-Angus from Freefield
House, Old Rayne.
Heifers (seven) averaged 83.82p (-4.01p) and sold to

New season SQQ up to 45.5kg (364) averaged 120.5p per
kg (-8.6p).
