THAINSTONE, Aberdeen and Northern Marts (1st November) sold breeding,
store and feeding sheep.
Store lambs (3,512) to £41.50 for Suffolks from Delnabo, Glengairn.
Ewe lambs (49) to £43 for a Suffolks and Texels from Whitefield,
Forglen. Island Sheep (414) to £39.80 for Suffolk lambs from Redbanks,
Tankerness.
Breeding gimmers and ewes (606) to £72 for Mule gimmers from Wardhead,
Strichen. Breeding rams (90) to £250 for Suffolk lamb from Tillyeve,
Udny.
Feeding ewes and rams (1,096) averaged £23.63. (+£0.11) and
sold to £48 for Texels from Braes, Stuartfield.
