Prime bullocks (34) averaged 123.9p (+0.4p) to 137p per kg for a 630kg Belgian Blue from Shiel, Muir of Fowlis purchased by Woodhead Brothers, Turriff and £910 gross for a 700kg Limousin from Darnabo, Fyvie.

Prime heifers (68) averaged 121.9p (-1.6p) to 138p per kg for a Blonde D'Aquitaine from Nether Glasslaw, New Pitsligo purchased by Rhinds of Elgin, Elgin and £869.95 gross for a 685kg Charolais from Darnabo and purchased by Woodhead Brothers.

Young bulls (6) averaged 112.5p (+23.5p) to 119p per kg for a 615kg Limousin from Woodend Farm, Auchterless and £806.20 gross for a 695kg Blonde D'Aquitaine from Cortiecram, Auchnagatt.

Beef cows (104) averaged 66.54p (-4.3p) to 111p per kg and £655 gross gross for a 590kg Belgian Blue from Drums of Foveran
