Prime bullocks (16) averaged 122p (-1.9p) to 127p per kg for a 535kg Limousin from Sunhoney, Echt and for a 505kg Limousin from Whiteside, Tullynessle purchased by Rhinds of Elgin Ltd and £893.20 gross for a 770kg Charolais from Lower Affleck, Whiterashes.

Prime heifers (23) averaged 122.9p (+1.0p) to 135p per kg for a 540kg Aberdeen Angus from Fontainbleu, Newburgh to A and F Neish, Butcher, Kintore and £787.20 gross for a 640kg Charolais from Milton of Campfield, Glassel.

Young bulls (4) averaged 107.4p (-5.1p) to 113p per kilo and £732.60 gross for a 555kg and 660kg Limousins from Mains of Leask, Slains.

Beef cows (57) averaged 62.19p (-4.35p) to 77p per kg for a 735kg Limousin from Mill of Fowlis, Muir of Fowlis and £665 gross for a 940kg Charolais from Netherton, Garlogie,
