Elgin Antique, Furniture and Weekly Saturday Market
A purpose-built sales hall, also built in 1995 as part of the redevelopment, accommodates the company’s weekly sale of furniture and quarterly sale of antiques which have built up a UK-wide reputation, regularly attracting a large number of buyers from all over the country.

Elgin Saturday market is a popular weekend haunt for anyone looking for a bargain. The 50 regular
stalls and 50 car boots sell everything from fresh farm produce and vegetables
to hardware, clothes and general bric-a-brac.
No more Livestock Sales at Elgin Auction Centre
Aberdeen and Northern Marts have announced the closure
of Elgin mart as a livestock auction centre.
But weekly antique and furniture auctions and the weekly Saturday market
are to continue.
The premises will also continue to be used as a collection centre for
cast cows and sows.
The seven-acre site will be sold for development in due course and continuing
activities relocated to a new site in Elgin.
